It's Over

Summer that is.

And guess what?

I'm ready.

Ready for routine :: violin :: fellowship night :: reading goals :: sewing :: tennis :: early bedtimes :: Bible study :: baking :: football :: crocheting :: leavings turning :: no mosquitoes :: exercise

I know it's still August. It's still officially summer but the time for being footloose and fancy free has come to an end.

Henry starts school on Monday and he's ready.

John's ready too.

What are you ready for?

I'm not quite as ready as you are! I would like another several weeks before my kids start back to school. But it is not to be! Sean starts 2nd grade on Thursday and Grace starts Kindergarten the Monday after that, and Elizabeth starts her second year of college on Sept 2. They are ready though. It's been a great summer, but they are ready for routine again and beginning the new school year and making new friends and all that. So, ready or not, here it comes!

I am not quite ready for fall and school, but I am getting there! School doesn't start here until September 7th for me and September 9th for students, so I have a little more time!

Cooler weather. We homeschool and it has been so hot here that I spend most of my time inside. I love FALL and all that ocmes with it. Pumpkins, orchard tours, apples, leaf collections and a couple more camping trips. BRING IT ON! :D

It sounds like you are ready. I'm ready for a new routine, but I'm not sure it's going to be better. We're packing one kiddo up for college and making plans to visit new colleges for child number 2. Life's moving too fast for my liking. Good luck with school this week.
