The CSA we belong too has all kinds of yummy shares for purchasing: lamb, goat cheese, fruit (in addition to what you already receive), beef and trout just to name a few. We had a credit from when we were on vacation and decided to use it to purchase a trout share.
Oh boy. Were these guys delicious (despite the cataract looking eyes!). Rocky was tickled that all he had to do to prepare the fish was minor. I was He was prepared to make a big mess ...
We fired up the grill and went to town.
Rocky mixed a baste for the fish:
2 TBS olive oil
2 TBS lemon juice
2 Tsp minced garlic (or more ;-P )
1/2 Tsp black pepper
1/4 C finely chopped scallions
Oy.
We were all makin' happy fish faces by the time we were done ... it was sooo delicious!

i love fish , can't be doing with the cloudy eyes though either
That sounds so delicious -- though the eyes are a little freaky. I've never bought fish with their heads still on.
your CSA ROCKS!! I think it's great that you can get so much different food through them.
Thanks for playing along this summer!
