Cat And Mouse

Kitty is still on the CatKins diet. He's down to an acceptable weight and is looking forward to many more years sleeping the days away and meowing all night.

He is however "earning his keep" as DH likes to say. As the temperatures have warmed the mice have come in to play ... they really are messy little creatures - ahem.

Fat cat is happy to provide some entertainment - a little game of cat and mouse.

The little rascal decided to come in during broad day light! Our stove was pulled out for the counter top installation (which is now complete!!!!!! Pictures soon) so I was able to snap this shot. That is our vent for our stove - apparently the (one of many?) P.O.E. (point of entry). Fat cat had him (them - yikes!) cornered.
Fatty is hoping to fall of the diet wagon and have a little dessert wouldn't you say?

nothing like a little mouse or two to make you appreciate your cat a more :o) we had to deal with ours before we had a cat...although the cat we have probably would have just watched them in delight instead of trying to catch them.

Hope he got dessert! We have two cats and they are both hunters. I'm constantly finding "treasures" left at the front door that I could really do without...

It's a good thing you have your cat to help you with that little creature trouble. They really gross me out.
