Snowed In With A Chance Of Cabin Fever

More snow. I'm not complaining. The boys are having a blast. In between treks outside we have watched a movie (very cute), warmed our toes by the fire, crocheted, baked banana bread, built airplanes out of legos, had a visit from a bat (yes, a real bat), crocheted some more, popped popcorn and ... and that was all before 4 PM.

And it's still snowing. The boys are knee deep in the stuff as I type this. And St. Francis ...

well, he's up to his neck poor fella.

Did I mention that it was still snowing?

So what do I plan to do to ward of cabin fever you ask? More playing legos, more movies, more crocheting, more popcorn poppin',more crocheting, more blogging (don't forget Turn the page ... Tuesday this Tuesday!), and more of this ...

staying warm by the fire! Good thing I went to the libary on Friday and check out 41 new books ... that should keep us busy until at least Sunday afternoon ;-)

Sounds like a wonderfully cozy way to spend a Saturday with the family! Poor St. Francis! Good thing he loved the outdoors! Your cat looks so very content :)

41 books? Do you even have time to breathe? You have snow, we have cold. Either way, sitting by a fire is where I want to be.

Have fun by the fire and reading and warding off cabin fever. Hope you have some Cadbury's dairy milk on hand too? Thanks for your comment btw. Is the US cadbury's the same melt in the mouth kind or is it a bit waxy cos of the vegetable oil they add to stop it melting? Maybe I should send you some from the UK to compare? Let me know! x

it does get a bit cabin feverish when you are cooped up for days on end -- we just kept popping outside for half an hour or so just to break up the indoors - ism
