His And Hers

The third project for Craft Hope is blankets (along with a few other much needed items).

I used fleece to make two blankets and two hankies. They are so soft but light enough to swaddle a sweet little one to give them some comfort.

His

And Hers

The deadline for the blankets to be received (so they can then be shipped to India the next day) is July 25 ... there is still time if you want to participate!

Adrienne, what a sweet and generous thing you are doing, making blankets and things for the children in India! I love the fabric you are using too. Very cheerful! These children will surely feel your love and care through them.

How great to be apart of that! I really like the flannel that you chose for the blankets!!! Very fun! Those will be some blessed kiddos! ;)

Those blankets are so sweet. Love the prints. Now that's something I should carve out time to create.

I love this idea. I will be running to Joanne's tomorrow to pick up some soft flannel. I have some Precious Moments fabric that I can use for the top of the blanket and some soft flannel on the back. Maybe I'll try it with some baby chenille. Can't wait to try this.

Thanks so much for sharing about this wonderful project. Your blankets are wonderful.

" When I write or share something about one of my friends in a posting, I always make sure I send them a copy of it, so they know what was said about them. Today I included information about you and your blog site in my posting, so I thought I should let you know about it as well."

The above paragraph is the first paragraph in an email I sent out today, to all of the owners of blogs whom host "theme days", that I could find email addresses for. {But I could not find an email address on your blog.} I have decided that from now on the only ones I will do such for, are any new "theme day(s)" hosts I find, whom I can not find an email address for. Contacting so-o many of you this way just takes w-a-y to much time!!! If you wish to again be notified that I am including you in a list, then PLEASE send me your email address via - pinkbunnies (at) sbcglobal (dot) com. I hereby promise I will NOT be giving it out. Also, please put something about "theme days" in the subject line. Thanks!!

The rest of the email is what I posted today on our blog. Go to: www.xanga.com/thehousethatlovebuilt to read it for yourself.

Hopefully, it will then clarify of all of this for you ;-}

Yours are 900 times cuter than mine! I'm still working on the "hers", but the "his" is done. I decided to make little quilts; my first ever actual block quilts. I have found that I'm the worlds crookedest cutter. Egads! Not horrible, and I just keep thinking that the little one's that get them are going to love them. It won't matter that there slightly off scew...
