Inheritance

Having crafty family members is definitely a bonus.

A few goodies from my Grammy's sewing box ...

Yarn from DH's darling grandmother GG. GG passed away 4 years ago from complications of a fractured pelvis. She was in her early 90's and suffered from Alzheimer's. In this pile of yarn I found lots of notes that she had scribbled and squirreled away for 'safe keeping' I'm sure. The best thing about this stash ... it still smells like her. A wonderful surprise.

Vintage knitting basket from GG.

And my favorite find of GG's ...
Sold for 29 cents in 1959 - awesome.

While we are on the subject of passing things on ... I think John inherited my pension for writing ... his autograph on the kitchen bar stool.
