Hodge Podge Weekend

If Friday was gloomy, today was just down right beautiful. We got some outdoor time -60 degrees. We have the craziest weather here in Virginia sometimes. I am so glad the boys got to burn off some energy.

I did work on my iPod cover again. This time it actually fit but not how I planned - typical. When I turned it right side out the iPod fit but it was pretty tight. So I turned it wrong side out and lo and behold...it fit. I need to tweek it a little more before I feel comfortable writing a tutorial. I'll start working on version 3 soon.




I also made the burp cloth to match the baby blanket. I'm pleased how it came out. I'll do this little project again.

Hmmm.... Maybe try using a fabric for the IPOD that doesn't fray, so you won't have to worry about bias tape - maybe leather? There are also a ton of knitting patterns out there for IPOD cozies. That might be the perfect answer!
