Seven

You were born the day before Mother's Day seven years ago. They actually thought you might be a Mother's Day baby (I say' they' because I was so out of it after 4 hours FOUR HOURS of pushing) that I had no clue who I was or what I was doing at that point.

After a little assistance from Electrolux (or whatever brand 'vaccuum' the hospital uses) you made your debut at 11:35 PM.
I'll never forget seeing you for the first time.

And now you are seven.

Despite the specialty team they had to call in to make sure you were ok after your "extended stay" in the birth canal and all the hub-bub going on - we got to cuddle right away and I felt so peaceful.
You were here.
My little Henry.
My sweet fat baby (you were 8 lbs 7 oz).
It seems like yesterday I was trying to figure out  how to be a mom (still am!).
We are way beyond diapers and 4 am feedings but you will always always be my baby.
Happy Birthday my Henry.
We are so glad God made you and chose us as your family.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Mother's Day to all of you women who take the time to love a child whether they were born of your flesh or of your heart. This is your day too!
