Tick Tock

... and time marches on whether we are ready for it or not.

I'd like to bottle time.

Open it up when I need a few extra minutes, hours, days even.

I wish I could say I have been creating over here at a furious pace but sadly that is not the case. I haven't picked up my crochet in at least two weeks and my sewing machine has a whole herd of dust bunnies living under it.

I have been perfecting the following skills: chauffeur, button-sewer-on-er, knee patches iron-on-er, pasta boiling, pizza/Chinese take out ordering, nurse, patient (I am sick again!!!!), photographer, reading silently and out loud ...

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

Due to the never ending illnesses that have seemed to afflict our family this winter, I have gotten a lot of reading in. I cannot wait to share a few good books for Turn the page .... Tuesday (next Tuesday).

I am also planning on participating in the Persephone Reading Weekend hosted by Claire.

If you happen to have one of those gray beauties on your shelf (or the library) join us!

I also have been snapping away trying to get some good shots for the February Scavenger Hunt.

Again - not too late to join in the fun!

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

How are you marking time these days of winter?

Down with all this sickness that's plaguing our households. You're probably a better nurse than I am. At least you've squeezed in a few books.

I hope you all get to feeling better soon.

I bet you have some great pics for the hunt!

I am looking forward to spring. Definitely wish there was a way to bottle time, save it up and use it when you like.

I hope you are all feeling better soon.

I need to find some Persephone books.

Oh yeah, we've been sick around our place, too. And there's dust on my sewing machine, too...and all around the house, because I just hate dusting.
Hope you and your's are feeling better - I'm soooo ready for some warm weather and snow melt!

Yuck! Sorry about all the sickness at your house. It's been here as well, bringing nasty colds, step throat and sinus infections! Out, nasty bugs, out!!

Spring can't come soon enough~
