Shalom Aaleichem

I'm not one for making resolutions.

I find too often that I am disappointed with myself when I break them or can't meet such an expectation.

Life is fluid.

Goals are good.

It's all about juggling balance.

I think Ben Franklin was on to something when he said

"Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had big plans for the eve this year ... until I began to feel under the weather. We decided to bag the tuxedo and high heels for khakis and clogs. We counted down to the New Year and at 9:26 pm toasted with some bubbly (Perrier for the under 21 crowd). It couldn't have been better. Here's to taming some of my vices, keeping peace with our crazy neighbors, and achieving a few goals in 2011.
I'm so glad you have come along for the ride my friends - Shalom aleichem!
