Hattitude

My boys begged me begged me to make them hats to match their scarves

and I do.

Throwing everything else to the wind thus creating a massive weather system in the process.

What do they do upon completion and wear them once?

Get a hattitude.

They aren't too interested in their hats despite the fact that we've had many days with temperatures below freezing.

No, no, don't worry about me ... my crafting heart is just fine (she whimpers).

I know what you mean. My ds wanted me to make him a hat, then another one. Does he wear either of them? Of course not. It just breaks your crafty mama heart.

Those are SU colors! Woohoo! Funny, fickle children. You just never know what goes through their little heads. The look marvelous. They should be "for display" only. So there.

Kids are just like that, aren't they? You never know what will tickle their fancy. I have knit many perfectly lovely things for my girls and they become cast offs. Then I knit a pair of toe up two at a time socks for Amelia using two different colors of yarn (one for each sock) so I can tell which sock is which, and she has worn them every day. Two different colors. Fine with her. Whatever. ( I was learning a new method...thus the need for two colors)
