The Best Laid Plans

Ever have one of those days?

Or weeks?

I have been so scatterbrained lately. I think the cabin fever literally affected my ability to function. Don't believe me? Friday I was in Wal-Mart and upon checking out (my overflowing basket) I realized that I didn't have my wallet. I live 20 minutes away. Thankfully they know me at the bank (since I don't even know my account number) so I could withdraw some cash! John kept asking why we were leaving without our groceries - ha ha!

Today: I had bought the wrong beans (at Wal-Mart) for my chili that was already simmering in the crock pot - no big deal - I'll just run to Kroger before taking John to school so I can swing back home, get them in the crock after dropping him off and be on my way (to run my many errands childless). Did it again. Only this time I didn't even have my purse!

I'm tellin' ya - I'm loosing it. I know what my true problem is though. I need to get crafty. I need to sew. I haven't touched my pillowcases or skirts since I cut them out. I haven't had time.

I have read quite a few good books though. I'm ready for Turn the page ... Tuesday (March 2nd) - are you? I've been reading by the fire instead of crocheting ... I'm a little burnt out (maybe it was the bunnies, or the cowl, or the bag ... that did me in!).

I shouldn't complain - it's finally warming up in these parts. 40 degrees feels like spring! You will have to excuse me now ... I'm going to ignore my dirty bathrooms and go play in some puddles.

I have been at the checkout only to discover that I've forgotten my checkbook so many times! You are not alone. Love the red boots!

I think playing in puddles is the best idea.
At Tractor supply last week I gave the guy the exact amount & then stood there waiting for my change.(What a dork I am)

I often feel the same way.

I need to get crafting too and I have seen some great ideas lately that I would like to try. Now I just need the time.

Who cares about the rest of it when there are puddles to play in AND you have RED rain boots! Totally awesome, Adrienne!

I can only imagine how much mud your little ones brought in. But it is a sign of spring.

Sorry about the state of your mind these days. Maybe you're just over-tired. I've been there too. Once this musical is done, I'm going to sleep and lounge around for the next month to recover.

Welcome to my life! I once left the house in my slippers. I didn't even notice. A friend gently pointed it out to me. By the way I love your puddle boots. Enjoy your reading......God bless...
