UFO's

  • Unidentified Frozen Objects in my freezer: 7
  • Plan of Action: Toss, scrape, and Clorox
  • Mission: Accomplished.
  • UnFinished Objects all over my house: I can't count that high
  • Plan of Action: Stick head in sand and make believe they aren't there. Begin at least three more projects.
  • Mission: Accomplished.
  • Unflattering Floppy Object: 1

  • Plan of Action: Solicit advise from blog land ...

To All (lurkers and commenters alike):

This darling little hat spoke to me (ok not really but you know what I mean) and I had to make it. She looks so cute. The hat is so cute. Mine looks like a UFO. I used cotton yarn so I was thinking I could soak it in some warm water to tighten it up ... what do you think ladies? Is that a good idea or am I just out to lunch in my flying saucer?

  • Mission to be accomplished ...

Hope you all have a great weekend - I'm sure I'll be on the phone with NASA after reports are filed about UFO's spotted in my area ...

Adrienne, you're always good for an early morning laugh! I like the part about sticking your head in the sand and pretending they are not there, then starting 3 more projects! That's funny! But I do love the feeling of accomplishment when I finally finish something.

About the hat...it really is cute! Try washing it and see what happens. If it works, you've got yourself a great hat. If it doesn't, you've learned a lesson and can start another project guilt-free! Win-win!

So, while your head was in the sand did you happen to find anything good? because the last time I stuck my head in the sand I lost my earings :o) Seriously though, cute hat! I think a run through the wash might just do the trick.

Lol here! Oh, how I can relate to the UFO syndrome...
I say try putting that hat in the warshing machine on warm and see what happens. Being that it's cotton, though, I don't know. Were it wool you could surely teach it a lesson or two in misbehaving! Good luck and let us know what happens!

I really want to stick my head in the sand right about now. It's been so busy and crazy I could use some hiding from it all.

I'm not sure what would help with the hat. Can't hurt to try a good, warm wash. Good luck.
