Ain't she a cutie.
I pulled some green linen from my stash and one of my favorite Kokka Trefle prints (bees) and made me an end of summer purse. It's the perfect size for my wallet, phone, lip stuff, and keys. If I needed to shove a diaper and a small thing of wipes I think I could pull that off too.
I only modified the Made By Rae's free pattern a wee bit - I added flannel to the lining to give some support to the linen and instead of attaching the handles to the exterior when the bag was finished I attached them prior to turning the bag right side out (does that make sense?).
I want to make another one with the little button accent for the winter ... maybe in a cute corduroy. I think I'm turning into one of those bag ladies ...

I've got that free pattern and can't wait to make a cute bag. Now if I could only find the time to sew...uninhibited.
The bee fabric is a perfect little accent! I love it!
I love the bag. I think I will try and give it a whirl. It is too cute. Maybe I'll even be good at it and make one for my daughter, too.
What fun. Thanks for sharing.

Way cute! Love that bee fabric, and one in corduroy? Oh Yes! Too-die-for!
I'm definately a bag lady myself. Nothing wrong with that!
Love the green linen! This is a cute bag. I'll have to check out that pattern.
Yes, the green linen is perfect, and I love it with the contrasting Kokka fabric. She is a cutie!
