In Less Than 24 Hours

I read The Mistress's Daughter. I couldn't put it down. If you have the chance - check it out, buy it, borrow it ... just read it. It's a great story about love, longing, and finding yourself - literally. Once you've finished that book, grab The Glass Castle (if you haven't discovered it already). It's another one that will blow your mind. I read this sometime ago but I still think of that family (it's a memoir) and the author and what she overcame.

I then picked up Three Cups of Tea off my bookshelf ... another can't put it down. I had started reading An Old Fashioned Girl but only got 2 pages into it before I fell asleep. It still sits on my nightstand ... waiting ... probably will take more than 24 hours to finish Three Cups of Tea ... maybe 48 hours?

How will you spend your next 24 hours?

Oh, I love book recommendations - and I've been wanting to read The Glass Castle for a while now. The next 24? Hmmm...let me ask my 3-year-old. :)

Oh I wish I could read that fast!

In the next 24 hours, I will take care of my children who are sick enough to stay home from camp, but not sick enough to be docile and easily placated!

The Glass Castle is in the pile on my nighttable--I'll move it to the top.
