As you can see, it's no longer snowing in our living room. We have returned to some semblance of normalcy - whatever that is! Furniture is back in its place and only a few plastic toys have made their way back in (they sure are aggressive little things). Pictures aren't hung yet - we're having some 'commitment issues' - too much pressure for freshly painted plaster walls. We waited until our littlest fella went to sleep tonight and had our biggest little fella put some ornaments on the tree. We only lost a few pine needles in the process. The star was a different story. My poor husband had to keep cutting...and cutting the top to fit the star. It finally made it to it's rightful home, sticky hands and all. I have to admit - I love the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree. I did get to make another tote today...the Bernina will be waiting for me tomorrow. Yippee!

YEY!!!! A new machine for you! That's so exciting :) Enjoy!
I checked out the mai tei pattern and it looks great. I actually have a mei tei that I bought when I had Syd and I couldn't get used to it. I should try it again with Ben... Thanks for the suggestion!
