Close Encounters

Of the bird kind ...

Just one of our many up close and personal encounters with some feathered friends while in Florida. How about you? Met any interesting folk (feathered or furry count too) this summer?

I am glad he did not pick you up and take him back to his nest!!

I just met the same ole people. ~sighs~

I did think I saw one of the geico cavemen at Wal Mart but could never get close enough to tell for sure of not.

My goodness but that thing looks HUGE! No interesting close encounters here, except with the two legged human sort which is my favorite anyway! Swimming with the kids and playing. Summer is winding down much too quickly!

What spectacular shots... he (she?) is beautiful.

We had a hawk of some sort in our backyard last week... he flew away before I could get the camera. :(

Those are great pictures! Really fun!
Just the other morning, I met a pair of spotted twin fawns who were standing in my flower bed, munching on my nastursiums. I actually had to pop one on the bottom with my hand to get them to move along and eat someone else's flowers.
