The Other Right

Me: John, give me your right foot so I can put your shoe on.

John: Here you go maaaaammaaaaa (while lifting up right foot - lucky guess)

Me: Ok. Now give me your ...

John: (lifts up left foot) And this is ... and this is ... not my right foot.

Me: (to self) I have a child prodigy on my hands ;-)

Out of the mouths of babes... little ones say the most precious things and have the most insightful observations! I have these kinds of conversations with my grandson and I store them away so that I can remember them and have a smile when my day isn't going so well.

Oh this made me giggle. I sometimes still have that conversation with myself. Left, right...what does it really matter??
