Semi (Psychedelic) Simple Pillows

I finished one of my weekend sewing projects ...

Anyone out there guess what I was making? I don't know why I have never made these before. They are so simple (thus the name I suppose) and fun to make (but hard to photograph!).

The back fabric I got at JoAnn and it's "Topsy Turvy" by Donna Wilder. The front has brown flannel and over that is "Park Slope" by Erin McMorris (Free Spirit). I embroidered 3 flowers on each pillow. I figured there was enough going on and wanted to keep it semi simple ;-P

These pillows are being boxed up and shipped out to my BTRS partner who described her space as "eclectic, colorful, and anything goes". I'd say I've got it covered ;-) I just hope she doesn't need any mood altering drugs after receiving these ... I'd say the pillows are psychedelic enough!

I'm loving green lately and that color is really neat....Different from run-of-the-mill greens. Great pillows. You're making me want to get sewing again. I spent all weekend working on table runners and have been away from my machine since Sunday. But all it takes is seeing someone's handiwork to make me want to sew all over again.

Love! Isn't that a great little pattern for pillows? So easy-peasy.
